OUR MISSION
Birthing in Barrenness is a faith-based community for women walking through infertility who desire to grow spiritually, emotionally, and physically while trusting God for his perfect will.
We believe that although the journey of infertility can be painful, it can also become a season of deep transformation, faith, and purpose.
Our mission is to help women seek Christ first, strengthen their faith, care for their bodies, and develop a life of prayer, discipline, and devotion while believing God for their miracle child.
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength….”-Isaiah 40:31
In this community, we support one another in faith, prayer, wisdom, and accountability as we pursue both spiritual fruit and the promise of motherhood according to God’s will.
Our Vision
Our vision is to raise a generation of spiritual resilient woman who refuse to let infertility define them, but instead allow God to develop them—birthing ministries, businesses, healing, character, and destiny—while standing in bold faith for their miracle child. We envision a global sisterhood rooted in prayer, accountability, wellness, and unwavering trust in God’s promises.
In this community, we join together to support one another in pursuing physical, emotional, and spiritual growth while we wait upon the Lord for the blessing of a child. Our desire is not simply to overcome infertility, but to deepen our faith and grow in our relationship with God during this season.
Scripture reminds us that our lives are ultimately defined not by our circumstances but by our obedience to God’s will.
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33
While many of us are believing God for our miracle child, we also commit ourselves to trusting His sovereignty. Even if our journey to motherhood unfolds differently than expected, we know that our lives still carry divine purpose and calling.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” — Jeremiah 29:11
The ultimate goal of this community is not motherhood alone, but discipleship and wholehearted devotion to Jesus Christ. Motherhood may come through natural conception, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), adoption, or other paths God may lead. However, we never allow the desire for a child to take the place of our devotion to Christ.
As we fast, pray, study the Word, declare God’s promises, and walk in obedience, we pursue a deeper knowledge of Jesus and align our hearts with His will.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6
Birthing In Barrenness provides monthly downloadable eBooks and resources designed to encourage women during this journey. These materials include prayer guides, devotionals, spiritual exercises, faith declarations, and calendars for upcoming ministry events. Additionally, we share practical wisdom on caring for the body in preparation for both natural conception and spiritual growth, recognizing that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit.
“Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit within you…? Therefore glorify God in your body.” — 1 Corinthians 6:19–20
While this ministry is only a beginning, we believe that through faithful prayer, perseverance, and surrender to God’s will, many powerful testimonies will emerge. Our confidence rests in the goodness and faithfulness of God.
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…” — Ephesians 3:20
Together, we wait with faith, grow in holiness, and trust that God will fulfill His perfect plan for each of our lives.
